Pictures From My Visits Of York

Welcome to this part of my website, packed with pictures of my visits to The City Of York. It is Yorkshire's Capital and one of England's most beautiful historic cities. You are not spoiled for choice, even on wet days because there are many exciting museums to visit, ranging from The National Railway Museum, if you are into railways and The Castle Museum is a must if your interest is local history. You need at least three days, to a whole week to tour this city, as there is so much to see. The City walls are one example on mid mornings about a hour after breakfast, to a stroll around York's historic streets, such as the Shambles and a visit of York Minster.
