My Visits Of Paignton And Brixham
Welcome to this part of my website featuring pictures regarding my visits of The South Devon Coast. The pictures in the order of 1 to 10 feature pictures from my 2004 visit of the Torbay Coast as it continues through the seaside town of Paignton and is more of a holiday entertainment place, with its Penny Arcades and is packed with plenty of entertainment suitable for both young and old. Brixham is a very busy fishing town and is certainly worth a visit. On a fine day I recommend leaving the car behind and making a whole day of it by boarding The Torquay Ferry. Like Whitby on The Yorkshire Coast it has a lot of Maritime history and its old cottages still give it that natural charm, despite new housing development on the sea front. The pictures in the order of 11 to 25 are from a revisit and feature pictures from the Paignton to Dartmouth steam railway and The Torbay Illuminations.
