Welcome to this part of my site, with pictures based on my tours of Yorkshire. It is England's largest County and is now divided into five different sections. North Yorkshire is the largest part of the county, and the west part is a area known as The Yorkshire Dales consisting of rivers with its scenic beautiful highland country and lovely villages. The North East part of the county also has some of the most scenic coast line in England, stretching from the lovely fishing village of Staithes, to the popular seaside resort of Scarborough.        

York. The capital city of Yorkshire. This is the most busy tourist part of the city, looking towards the minster.

Knaresborough. Historic market town, in the lower Nidd Valley, Known as The Nidd Gorge. This is by the river, looking towards Mothershipton Viaduct.

Harrogate. My home town and this is one of the nicest parts of the stray area in Montpellier, looking towards the town centre

Ripon. One of England's smallest city's and is the cathedrel city of The Dales.

Wetherby. Pleasant market town, Situated 9 miles East of Harrogate on the A1 Great North Road, Half way between London and Edinburgh

Pateley Bridge. Lovely Dales market town, Situated in Nidderdale.

Grassington. Situated in Wharfedale and is one of the most popular walking and tourist part of the Dales.

Burnsall. Lovely Dales village, situated in Wharfedale and this is a relaxed summer view of the river, by the village green.

Goredale Scar. Situated near the popular tourist village of Malham, in theYorkshire Dales with its outstanding limestone country.

Malham Village. Situated on England's long distance footpath, known as the Pennine Way and is the busiest part of The Yorkshire Dales

Robin Hoods Bay. Lovely fishing village and very busy tourist place in summer, and is also on the popular Coast To Coast Walk.

Whitby. Fishing town and seaside resort, on the Yorkshire coast. This is looking over towards the Abbey and the South end of the town.

Scarborough. The family favourite of all Yorkshire and Northern seaside resorts. This scene is on the South bay, taken in the busy season of 2005.

Bridlington. Another of Yorkshires most popular holiday resorts located in The East Riding, 16 miles South of Scarborough.

Sewerby Hall. Located about 1 mile North of Bridlington, on the Yorkshire Coast and one of the nicest of Yorkshire tourist attractions.

Beverley. Located in The East Riding Of Yorkshre 10 miles North of Hull and is one of the nicest of Yorkshires tourist towns.

Pickering. The home of North Yorkshire's only surviving Steam Railway, Situated on the A170 about 18 miles west of Scarborough.

Goathland Village. Famous for the TV series Hartbeat and is the most popular tourist village of The North York Moors National Park
